I will be attending japshow at santapod as I have every year for the past 5 years or so anyone else heading down? might be extremely cheeky and take the citigo down the dragstrip or on the handling track hell why not both

I should be there hopefully, I'll give you a race in my citigo :P

brilliant I was hoping someone would be you'll know where I am cos I could probably place a bet on me being the only other citigo there haha

The only downside is that I have just discovered that only jap cars are allowed on the drag strip or handling circuit during the event this year :'(

ive been for the last 5 years dude its jap only on the sunday but Saturday is a run what ya brung day or it usually is I guess we'll find out on the day but if we can we'll show them jap cars a thing or two

are you camping or just going down for thw show on sunday?

Probably just for Sunday if I go as there is Modified Live on same weekend at Snetterton right on my doorstep

The citigo is all packed up for japshow and thoroughly cleaned its gonna look like its sooo low with all the stuff and people in it haha 

Surely GTI international is more in keeping with the brand?  :P

ive only just got in contact with other people with the same brand haha ive been to japshow for the past 5 years so it'd be rude not to gonna set a fully standard citigo time on the strip before i start modding so i can see the changes

took my baby down the quatermile yesterday with a bad launch and a bag full of nerves which meant I didnt look at the rev counter still managed a mid 19 secons run which isnt too shabby out of a 1L when I messed it up haha

Wish I was there to see that! unfortunately I couldn't make it in the end. It's actually a better time than I was expecting for a citigo haha

that was when I messed the start up and was that nervous I didnt look at the rev counter so even as standard we could poss shave a few tenths of a second off that haha thats unlucky :( I did meet another briskoda member down there though! who also took his fabia down the strip which went a lot quicker than my little citigo haha
