arch rub

Featured Replies

ive got 18'' alloys with 225/40/18 tyres and ive got pro sport coilovers which are at their highest setting on the rear, but now they have settled a little bit and the tyres are rubbing on the arch liner when ive got people in the back. whats the best way around this? can i trim the arch liner back? arches dont need rolling as they seem to have plenty of clearance, and ideally i dont want narrower tyres but if thats the only option its not the end of the world i suppose.

its settled about 10mm since the picture.

What offset are the wheels?

Make them walk!

You could remove the liner completely.

Can't help on this topic, but your car looks good :-)

What VW are those wheels off?

Ive heard of prosports rubbing shizel before

Ah just seen its tyre on arch

I've seen these wheeLS on a few cars and not been impressed but they really do look good on your wagon mate!

They are 18x8 Nuovolari reps, et35.

Il try taking the arch liners out completely never had them off so dont know what theyre protecting.

Im getting a grinding/rubbing from the front end now aswell but only on full lock fml

The rear bumper might be not supported too well if the arch is removed, u could trim the arch liner down abit.
