Vrs wanna be - I think!

Featured Replies

Hi all, new here and don't (yet) have a skoda!

Company car is up for renewal soon, and budget would stretch to an octavia (vrs tdi dsg estate is current thinking). I know very little about skodas (or vw group motors in general) as currently have company mondeo and had other fords as company cars mostly, ten years back or so we had a focus st170 and prior to that tinkered with escort rs turbos. The vrs would be the first recent sporty car.

I'm getting on nearly 40 and have wife, a three year old and one on the way, hence need a good sized family car that is comfortable at not going around at mark 3 everywhere, but I do have a round trip of 70 miles a day on country A roads to the office in the week plus trips around the country for work (do approx 25k miles a year) so something with a bit of overtaking pace would be nice.

Thought you guys might be best knowledge rather the sales man at the dealers. Will ask a few questions in the octavia section if that's ok.

Cheers

Jamie

Hello Jamie and welcome.   :hi:

That choice of car sounds ideal for your needs. Hope you enjoy it if it materialises.
