OK...................My big Brakes have arrived. :woohoo: :woohoo: The callipers need painting I have got some hammerite smooth green. Do I need to primmer or will 2 caots of green do as it says on the tin Primmer, undercoat and top coat all in one "Does it do what it say's on the tin" ohhhh sorry it's not ronseal.....................Thanks Andy

I put some smooth silver Hammerite on my Punto's calipers. They were rusty and all I did was give them a clean with a wire brush then gave them 2 coats of the paint. The finish lasted ages......

I put a coat of the Hammerite alloy primer on just to be on the safe side, allthough there's probably no need!

Just finished spraying mine today, I did a coat of Hammerite special metal primer first. Will get some photos up once I've taken a few of them finished :D
