I am slightly confused, new outdoor greenline car has arrived this morning and I have successfully set up the auto function on the electric seat and mirrors.

 

When I backed into the parking space the mirror moved as required, but then stayed there?

 

How do I get it back to normal after reversing, tried going into forward gear etc but nothing happened, handbook is a bit vague.

 

Pressing the preset button on the seat worked, but also moved the seat as well as I had adjusted its position since getting into the car as still in the getting it right stage?

 

I thought I had activated the autosave, but it seems this only records the position as I exit and lock the car?

Don't know but maybe it need a forward speed/gear change to return to driving position.

About 10-15mph should see it return?

Occaisionally my mirror does not return to the normal driving position even after 10-15 mph. Tried to work out the circumstances but can't find a pattern. 

On my pre-FL Elegance the mirror has, if I remember correctly, always returned to normal position when I turn off the ignition.

You have to check the mirror adjustment lever,  leave the knob with the white dot on the 'L' and for me it works every time. leave it between the R and L and it won't work.
