Superb Going - Yeti Arriving - I'm going to miss it

Featured Replies

Following 2 and 1/2 years of ownership my 3,6 V6 4x4 DSG Combi is leavinig the garage and being replaced by a Yeti.

Stats:

51,029 Miles, 7,698 litres of fuel, average 30.134 mpg, best tankful 34.58 and worst 25.50

Two services and a DSG oil/filter change

Front tyres replaced at 22K and 44K, rears changed at 36K.

Cost per mile (excluding finance/depreciation) 29.2p per mile

Best fuel Shell, 23 tankfuls, returning 31.04, followed by BP with 52 tankfuls at 30.36

This has been without doubt the best car I have ever owned, but as I spend 95% of the time on my own in the car it

is time to downsize.  I will always remember this car with a true passion and whoever takes it on next has a true bargain.

I can thoroughly recommend this car/engine combination - it is awesome.

Great info there fella, and glad you will remember your time in a Superb fondly.

All the best with the Yeti, hope it proves as good as the V6

Have fun in the new motor, some downsizing! ;) ;) ;)

Spend a few pounds on Intercooler & exhaust upgrade, suspension, brakes, plus a remap and you'll have an equally quick Skoda ;)

cheers, Steve
