I am considering a high mileage 190k  furby estate  and may swap for a lower mileage 110k lump in its place. Q is it a straight swap or is there ECU /coding issues  (Did I hear somewhere that injectors have to be recoded? eg)

Which engine? Should be no coding needed if it's a like for like swap

Should be a straight swap, no coding for injectors on these, not like mondeos which is a faff!

I also wouldn't rule out the engine that quickly! They are good for over 300,000 really, seen some with more than that.

I wouldn't swap the engine until you have to, if it ain't broke...
