hi been offered a mint golf mk3 vr6 interior for a steal of a price , am i right in saying it wont fit my 51 plate octavia vrs

I'm pretty sure (although I am not a total expert like some on here) that no, they won't fit. As far as I know, most Mk. 4 floorpan-based vehicle parts will fit our Mk. 1 Octavias, but your Mk. 3 seats won't.

 

That said, with regard to cars, if you're keen enough, anything can be made to fit with a bit of time, tools, saws and welders!

Mk4 golf or a3 are the ones you want to be looking for, They fit straight in.

Mk3 golf has a weird fitting at the fronts and the rears just slide into the runners on wheels so are totally different and not worth the aggro and work involved tbh.
