We had a play on vag com and got mph digital display done and a mooch around got my auto tuck in mirrors working and washer fluid low which was oddly deactivated.

There is plenty more to do tomorrow as it was a short tinker.

Yup, changed the XDS and steering assist on my Fabia.

 

Providing your ABS pump is the right one (car capable of Hill Hold Control and has XDS, which I think has another name on the Superb, but is the same thing)

 

Steering assist generally adds steering weight, for me it made the car feel a bit more solid and responsive to inputs and felt a bit more stable at higher speeds due to the weight of input.

 

You can also change the amount of braking assistance too.

 

I think steer and brake should be universally available on all cars as these are often altered on vehicules for people with a physcial impediment that benefits from lighter steering, less pedal force required to brake etc.
