Billy bookcases are 2020mm IIRC ;)

Could probably fit a coffin in there then.  Might come in handy......

Nice to see what can be done. Gives me ideas to save using my trailer at times.

Hope you used the front seat belt (just in case) to hold the boxes.

The roof bars would be the other option, but you (I) do have to carry a short step ladder to do a good job with the bungee cords :-)

A Yeti in black has sometimes (rather rudely I might add) been called a hearse. Personally I'd rather not be seen dead in one. White ones have also been referred to as an ambulance so one Yeti to take you to the morgue and one to take you for planting.

And back on topic..

Thanks for the photos Johann, I've dodged a few Ikea purchases partly due to the length of the inside with the rear seats folded. Looks like Ikea may be taking a little more of my hard earned cash in the future.

Have had a 2.40m x 0.6 worktop in as well, front of board wrapped in blankets etc on dash, fitted a treat!

Nope. Two of these:

I've had the IKEA cupboards in via this method before - the only other time I had done this arrangent. The tallest 2,310mm ones and they did have to go on the dash.

The table that goes with these sun loungers (and that was bought from a different IKEA the day before) could go in the car no sweat but alas the two chairs then didn't want to fit. So the table had to be bungeed to the roof bars. For which yes I do have a little step.

I was wondering how my 6x4 trailer would accommodate my bed rails, being more than 6ft long, now I know.

Thanks.

Did anyone notice my neighbour's TWO Škoda Felicia's top left in the first few pics? He has an Estate and a hatch both still running (barely - since he can't find parts anymore to keep them both going).

Someone used to play Tetris ;)

Used to? It is the ONLY game I bought as an app on my iPhone and still play from time to time.

Useful for deciding on how to pack a square boot with odd shaped packages.

Had a similar situation on Saturday - 5 wardrobe doors (surplus to requirements as the wardrobes are going behind mirror doors) at 2+m each to go to the tip. Same seats out and they fitted great. Then back to the house to pick up a wrot iron gate which meant removing the other rear seat and restoring the front to its original position.

These things are like vans without the seats in them!

Can't beat a session of luggage tetris when loading up for a holiday trip :)

He needs to join the Skoda Owners Club of GB, and/or go onto their FB page. They are always selling parts, new and used.

He should.  But I think he's about 90... so not sure if he knows about "them internets".

Well I'll solve all his problems and take the Estate off his hands.

:-)  I'll tell him next time I see him.  He still drives one or the other every morning. He bought the hatch for his daughter but she didn't want it so now he has both!
