Mk4 golf roofbars for hatchback

Fit or no fit?

My research says no

My catalogues say no also.

About the only none interchangeable things then.

Any vag ones fit?

Polo ones have the same clamping feet, but are shorter. I've seen a few bars that are adjustable and advertised as Polo and Octavia.

Just ordered to Thule ones for mine, they use the fix point in the roof. Different to mk4 bars, they fit into the door frame.

I think mk1 Fabia and mk1 Octavia ones are the same fitment. I picked up some Thule ones from eBay.

I'm not sure what model of polo is was. They have the same claw fitting into the roof rail.

I don't think the fabias have that rail?

MK1 fabia and octavia take the same fitting, polo is a bit different.
