On the hunt for a VRS TDI DSG!

Hi all,

I've been on the lookout for a decent VRS TDI DSG for a while now, looking on Autotrader, eBay and the Skoda approved used site in case one pops up in my budget. Is there anywhere else I should be checking?

Looking for a hatch , ideally in blue and sensible mileage up to approx £7500. If anybody sees one on their travels please post it here! :-)

2022 Skoda Octavia 1.5tsi estate. Following a battery issue, I now have 10 CAN Network Gateway faults, all related to low voltage. The battery has been replaced with a new one but I need to register the new one with the car. I have a Carista EVO reader but it won’t reset the fault codes. Reads them fine but won’t reset them. (I’ve subscribed for a month so that part is fine.) I checked the battery voltage and it was 14.1v so I took the car for a 30 minute drive to see if the car’s computer/sens

I do need to change my lovely (but aged) 2010 Fabia 1.6tdi so went looking for a year old 1.5tsi DSG SEL, found a nice one at a local dealer but when looking at the finance side of things, it worked out similar to buy a brand new one (via Carwow prices) due to the Skoda contribution and the lower APR on a PCP. I'm looking at a 2020 Kamiq SEL as a second car, which has the fairly rare 'adaptive' cruise control (not 'predictive adaptive'). I've had mixed experiences with ACC on two Citroens. My recent C5 has it, and it works great and very smoothly so long as you remember that all it really does is keep you on station with the car in front and stop you running into it. I have had an ongoing problem for 2 years with my 2018 Kodiaq .2.0l TSI battery losing charge over a few days and the battery charging randomly at different charge rates.
