Okey. So I got my new Dunlop Sport Maxx's fitted today. At the same time I had an 4-wheel (geometry) alignment done. Car is on 15mm spacers 17" spiders - 205/50-17

 

FRONT readings (adjusted):

R -0.10

Set back (degrees):

-0.05

Camber (degrees):

L -1.05

R -0.25

plus triangle stating 0.40 degrees*

Caster (degrees):

L +6.50

AI/KPI (degrees):

L +13.20

R +14.00

plus triangle stating 0.40 degrees*

Comb angle (degrees):

L +12.15

R +13.35

plus triangle stating 1.20 degrees*

 

REAR readings (adjusted)

 

Total toe (mm):

+2.60

Separate toe (mm):

L +1.20

R +1.40

Set back (degrees):

-0.10

Camber (degrees):

L -1.40

R -1.15

plus triangle stating 0.25 degrees*

Thrust angle (degrees):

+.0.00

 

 

 

* the triangle seems to be some sort of max tolerance from the two readings divided in two. I will post pictures tomorrow at work.

Before the car pulled quite heavy to the left with the steering wheel in dead center. When I let go of the wheel the car went left.

After the alignment the car still pulls to the left when steering wheel is dead center. It feels much less aggressive and twitchy and has a more neutral feel in the steering wheel than before, but still it goes left.

Reading the geometry result paper the little knowledge I have tells me:

I will call there tomorrow and point out the pulls to the left issue but I just wanted to know if anyone here has something to add to this. I want the readings to be much better IMHO. The front camber, if I read it correctly, is really bad.

 

So, feel free to tell me if I'm wrong or right and what to do. Will post complete results tomorrow with before and after results

 

Factory settings FRONT:

 

Total toe: +0.00

Separate toe: +0.00

Setback: n/a, should be +0.00

Camber: -0.33

Caster: +7.50 and triangle 0.30

SAI/KPI: n/a

 

Combined angle: n/a

Cornering angle (20 degrees): +1.31 (can't be adjusted)

Steering angle IN: +39.45 (can't be adjusted)

 

Factory settings REAR:

 

Total toe: +3.59

Separate toe: +1.80

Setback: n/a (+0.00)

Camber: +1.27 and triangle 0.30

Thrust angle: +0.00
