Okey. So I got my new Dunlop Sport Maxx's fitted today. At the same time I had an 4-wheel (geometry) alignment done. Car is on 15mm spacers 17" spiders - 205/50-17

* the triangle seems to be some sort of max tolerance from the two readings divided in two. I will post pictures tomorrow at work.

 

 

 

Before the car pulled quite heavy to the left with the steering wheel in dead center. When I let go of the wheel the car went left.

After the alignment the car still pulls to the left when steering wheel is dead center. It feels much less aggressive and twitchy and has a more neutral feel in the steering wheel than before, but still it goes left.

Reading the geometry result paper the little knowledge I have tells me:

• They have not matched the two sides of the car as good as it can be done
• I might have a problem with set-back on the left side (negative setback of 0.05 degrees before and after - left side tyre sits further back than the right tyre) http://www.alignmycar.co.uk/setback/

• They have not done anything on the rear. Isn't there any more adjustability to be done here?
• Cross camber could have something to do with the pull since it has been overlooked http://www.alignmycar.co.uk/cross-camber/

I will call there tomorrow and point out the pulls to the left issue but I just wanted to know if anyone here has something to add to this. I want the readings to be much better IMHO. The front camber, if I read it correctly, is really bad.

 

So, feel free to tell me if I'm wrong or right and what to do. Will post complete results tomorrow with before and after results
