Saying hello as instructed by the joining page.  We've just replaced a much loved 2002 Golf Estate 1.9TDI SE (130) with a 2010 Octavia Estate Elegance 1.6TDI and just getting used to the VAG family similarities and differences. Sadly our dog crate doesn't fit the Skoda (very sloping rear door compared to Golf) nor the Thule roof bars (not wide enough by millimetres). On the plus side, our collection of spare bulbs will fit according to the Halfords website.

I can't find a search facility on this site so am off to the Octavia II owners forum to see if anyone can advise on the best fit dog crate/bars! Will then tackle the issue of pairing an iPhone with the Bolero unit and getting said phone to play music through Aux socket in armrest. It has defeated me and Simpsons Skoda in Preston so far.
