ill post a video later, need to get a decent one!

Well done mate, defo post up a vid would be interested to hear this. First Monte I've seen with an aftermarket exhaust. Only thing I would say is I'm not too sure about the angle it is pointing down at..... I suppose it's a tricky one to get round without cutting into the rear valance/bumper tho. :-)

Yeah im not sure on the angle either, I'm going to ask the people that fitted it to maybe cut a little into the bumper and higher it so it sits nicer.

sounds good though, thinking of removing the silencer next.

Looking good, was it an expensive mod? Have you thought about de-badging the rear?

i have thought about it yeah, but I'm not to keen on no badges, i quite like the badges.

the exhaust box cost £55, and i paid £60 to have it fitted, not to bad.. it has been welded on properly and secured. i would have done it myself but i don't really have the knowledge on welding plus the welding equipment. and plus if i have someone do it i have the warranty..

That's a good price, I fitted my last back box but it was easy as it was straight. If i change mine I would get it done for me. Still thinking about the centre delete.

I do like the smooth look personally

personal preference mate. and yeah, I'm going to get a price to have that removed, ill probably go ahead with it. i want the exhaust to really back pop and have a loverly burble.

It's a good price and nice oval shape but it's crying out for a neat cut out so the exhaust isn't hanging down over.

It would look more original if it was like a vRS valence.

This is a little video of it whilst moving.. i need to get a better camera!

Is it not a little embarrassing to make all the noise like it now has, but still not move very quickly.?

Maybe a Remap is in Order.

Nice result on the upgraded noise :-)

I just had an aftermarket exhaust done to my Monte Carlo yesterday, sounds exactly the same, I went for a twin tip and got a hole cut in the rear diffuser to have them poking through, they did a really good job!

Sounds good mate! Can you send me a photo of it? I was going to have a twin tip!

Not a great pic, only one I have at the moment

The picture didn't upload either :') that was a huge fail

Thanks :) I was cautious of cutting through the diffuser but the cut is really clean! I'll take done better pictures today
