You need to get the car scanned for faults.

It probably is just an ABS sensor, but you need to scan to find which one it is.

Why not get yourself a cheap code reader for less than a single garage visit then just fix it yourself. There are plenty of guyzs on here who have full vagcom systems for £15-20 as another option.
