Today I saved over

Featured Replies

Today I saved over £200 on my car insurance by using "say nothing about your mods.com" first up tried filling in the the lengthy time consuming fields telling of the car's remap, uprated Turbo and Intercooler, Exhaust system, Brakes, Stereo System, Some Slight Bodywork Changes, and was quoted Near £500 for my efforts WTF, then tried again simply ticking the box that says everything is as standard saving myself both time and effort and BOOM!! was able to beat that price by over £200.

So you're not insured then...if you have an accident the insurance vehicle inspector will have a field day.

Lol are you for real?

Uh oh I sense trouble...

Are you for real? The rest of us on the whole are responsible and pay for our insurance and state our modifications! The reason the modified quote you got is so high is because of people like you not declaring your mods! Well when you crash everyone will find out you have invalidated your insurance policy and are technically uninsured! You think £500 is expensive??? I'm 17 and I pay £1600 a year on insurance for my standard 1.2 Fabia! I work hard for all of this! I sincerely hope that you get caught and suffer the consequences! If you can't afford the insurance then don't modify it in the first place! As GRR666 says it's people like you that put our insurance prices up!

  Clearly a wind up.

Probably. And as the insurance would be null and void, clearly there was scope to save a further £300.

If I saved £200 they would be paying me :) Sorry to all those with high premiums, but sometimes being a bit older has it's advantages.

I can't wait for the insurance sponsors to see this. Then they can inform who he is insured with. And low and behold no insurance and bye bye licence

...............and to the OP: If you are real please give up driving and hand your keys to someone sensible who will suitably insure your car.

Let's hope they find out, you get your insurance cancelled and possibly black listed then end up paying x2/3 as much as you do now.

Relax people... its got to be a windup.

No one would be that thick to post something like that if serious...

Would they?

And one more from me:

If he got rid of the car he could save even more money, Wouldnt have to pay for fuel.

Was going to say would save on road tax as well, but prob doesn't have any, along with MOT - in fact can anyone, including him verify that there is a brain inside the skull ? ;)
