Kw inox variant 1 coilovers help

Featured Replies

Hi all

I've recieved delivery of my nice sexy new coilovers thanks to DPM Performance but I have a few questions before fitting as this will be my first time at coilovers. I have used google but can not seem to find the info on my coilovers so any help would be much appreciated

1. When installing the top mount an bearing there seems to be a spacer according to partsbase.org

http://www.partsbase.org/skoda/octavia-oct-eu-2004-1u-4-000-001-41100-suspension-shock-absorbers-anti-roll-bar/

Does this spacer get used?

2. Once I have the top mount and bearing on do I do the nut up as far as it will go down the thread or do it up to 50nm as stated in the manual? As in sayin it might stop half way down the thread at 50nm rather then goin all the way?

I have a mk 1 octavia vrs an quite a bit of knowledge I can see it's not a hard job just want to make sure I have all new bolts an nuts an bearings an top mounts before I start.

If I have missed anything please can anyone shout out like I say it's my first time with suspension an the threads I have read are not the same as my kw inox

Thanks In advance
