How do

Featured Replies

Hello people

Got an R32 at the moment but thinking of getting an Octavia. I like to valet my cars, so hopefully I can pick up some tips in your cleaning section. Been Valeting a while & I hope I can also help others.

Welcome to Briskoda, Bob. :) Which Octavia variant do you see as being a suitable successor to the R32, or will you drive both?

I won't have both, I need to part ex the R32 as I'm doing a lot if miles now. Sometimes 300+ a day! I'm not sure which model yet. Do you have any suggestions?

Hello Bob - Welcome to the forum!

Any mods on the R32? You looking for an Octavia Taxi - or something sporty?  :giggle:

Keep the R32, I'd like to keep the RS models very exclusive ;-)

With the miles I am now doing it will be a Derv, funny you should say that. A mate of my dads is selling his ex taxi which happens to be an Octavia. Trouble is its got a lot of miles on it already so not sure about future reliability.

I'd love to but I can't afford to run 2 cars. I think I have a buyer for it as well.

Nice one - good luck with the sale! Welcome aboard....

Coming from an R32 - & doing those miles - only 1 choice.   Octy vRS TDI either will give you plenty of boot space, but estate will give you better access.

If you really want Comfort for the long miles & some acceptable overtaking speed the look at the Superb 170 Diesel same engine as Octy vRs & Gizmo68 had 1 of these engines remaped.
