Sorry if this has been covered but I have used the search button and nothing... i have a 2011 vrs with 225/40/r1 what are the correct pressure I've even looked through had book and nothing is in there

Is it 2.6 bar front and 2.4 bar for rear?

Many, many posts on this subject; do a search.  I think 2.6 bar front and 2.4 bar for rear is too high.  I use 34psi front and 32psi rear  (2.35/2.2).  Over more than 13K miles tyres have worn evenly.
 

36psi (2.5bar) all round works for me.

Yeah i used search button as said about but all that came up was tyre monitors..

 

surely the most usefully place would be the hand book wouldnt think to look in filler cap.

 

my last car had 225/35/18 and that was 2.6 bar front 2.4 bar rear so thought might be similar thanks for reply 

Petrol Vrs with 18s is 2.0 front 2.1 rear recommended. It will be on your filler cap

I run mine at 32psi all round. As said there are official pressures inside the filler cap, I just like a little more in my tyres.

I think the handbook says look behind the filler flap.  It's the standard spot for VW group vehicles.
