After the Halesowen dealership changed my cam-belt at 60k instead of 80 without asking me it's fair to say that I was pretty unhappy with them.

The service staff's attitude was basically "we've done it so you have to pay".

Well I wrote and complained to the group head office and today I got a phone call from the general manager apologising and agreeing that the work was unauthorised and unnecessary. I'll be getting a cheque in the post in the next few days refunding the cost. :thumbup:

I can't remember the exact wording he used to describe the staff , but it wasn't exactly complementary. :rofl:

Anyway , it shouldn't have happened but it's nice to see that someone has their head screwed on right.
