My 1.8 Octavia L&K is coming up to the end of its warranty in September and I have noticed that the badges, especially the one at the rear, seem to be corroding on the silver parts. Is this a common problem now? I have owned Skoda cars for about 30 years and never experienced this before. Should I ask for the badges to be changed under warranty?

Yeah they all do it, I'd try to get them changed if you can.

Think they have to replace Like for Like, I had the same problem a while back and the badges were replace with the same sort

Nope warranty claims will only replace like for like.
