Input rpm sensor

Featured Replies

Hi anyone know where this beast resides on an auto tiptronic box fitted to fabia 2007. This car has been sitting on my drive for over a year since it flashed up all gears and became horrible at gear changes.

Since then I have scanned it p0715 error code looking at a diagram i pulled off elsa win it looks as if it is located in the gearbox under the pan. Any ideas by the way I am tight don't fancy two grand bill at local

auto specialist if i can fix myself.

I came across a similar fault a while back, didn't get as far as dropping the sump off the box as we found a broken wire at the gearbox electrical plug.

Google "automatic transmission 09g service manual" first item is the VW manual, seems the sensors are accessed via the valve body and there is one wiring loom for both speed sensors & the oil temperature see page 105. Think I'd have a look at the wiring first.

I think I would start looking at the 8 way connector for the speed & temperature sensors.
