Plastidip

Featured Replies

I was thinking of smartening up the engine bay by possibly colour coding the battery and fuse box cover. And possible a ewe other bits and pieces. Been reading a bit about plastidip and seen a few videos on YouTube. However I don't actually know anyone who has actually used it. I just wondered if any one on here has used it. Cheers in advance

I have used it before. Very easy to use. Not sure about the engine bay use though, what's the sort of temps it can withstand?

What did you use it on? From what I've rear I'm sure it's good upto 90-95 deg C but I could be wrong.

Sounds like it's got a variety of uses. Thanks for the link looks like it's been done in more than a few cases and should more than stand up to the engine bay temps.

Yeah it's really good stuff. Just make sure before you apply it everything is really dry otherwise it will bubble and peel off easy. Build it up in very thin coats
