Fitting on the other hand prepare for swearing and cuts.

You have to install it and then get a pair of good small nose pliers to pull the spring around its base at least 1 full turn and lock it into the plastic cut out. The strain on that spring is ridiculous compared to what is does.

Also common is for the ash tray door to loose it's little plastic lug that runs into the surround that allows to open and close and lock.
