I've just picked up my 1,9 TDI 100 HP Combi

There's wind noise coming from the right rear door.

It seems that the LHD cars often suffer from this problem much more than from the left side.

Someone has suspected the small passenger side mirror to be the culprit, so I was wondering if you guys in UK have problems with noise from the left rear door. Or do you also have a full size mirror in the left side?

Both mirrors are the same size on UK models. The driver's mirror has a wide-angle glass in it.

If all the windows are tightly shut, and the door closes properly, look at the door seal on the rear door. Stale air leaves the cabin through the door seal, and it sounds like yours is letting too much air out.

Of the three RHD Fabias I've owned two have had wind noise from the left rear door, but don't normally get a peep from the right door.

Hmm. Then it must be a question about where you are sitting in the car.

I must try to get someone else to drive, and try to sit in the passenger seat and listen for noise from the left rear door.
