just be aware , the braided lines WILL saw their way thru anything they touch when on the car so make sure they are well away from anything they can rub on..

I can imagine they will, I've already had two Injuries from the sharp metal when making them to size!

Nothing for them to touch though really, will be made to a good fit so aslong as people fit them correctly they have nothing to worry about.

I'm also waiting for a large delivery of silicone bends, braided pipework and connections.

Here's a picture of another members, which will look exactly the same, just made to your choice of colours etc.

Blue finishers please

I'm going to try the next size up for the finishers, I've got 12mm finishers on mine now but some of them are a very awkward fit, I've just orderd a couple of 14mm ones tonight so will test them when they turn up, hopefully the extra 2mm will be the best fit! Guess that's why I'm the guinea pig!

mail me m8 braided fuel lines and blue finishers plzz

Pm sent.

I will be pm'ing everyone when they are made / almost finished to confirm everyone still wants them, I'm waiting for things to get deliverd before I do anything els so just abit of a waiting game I'm afraid.

Thanks :)

I'm interested in everything barring the darkside hard pipes (as I bought the airtec seatsport complete intercooler kit)

Cheers

Uprated head bolts have all been posted apart from the people that know.

--------

Braided hoses are looking well, tested mine for a few days now and all is well. I'm using slightly bigger finishers now but got the best results with them. For anyone interested the price will be £90 posted.

Few pictures of my test sample!

Crank case breather / elephant mod

Had this about 10 different ways so have a million pictures! My issue was having a 3 feed oil catch tank to allow a filter to be fitted. This is how it ended up anyway, you get the idea on the design!

How do I get a set of head bolts?

Was the catch can specially made up or where did you end up sourcing it from?  I'm guessing that the idea behind having the gauze air filter is just in case the breather pipe becomes blocked?  Doesn't the filter allow oil vapour fumes back into the engine bay though (hence through the pollen filter into the cabin?).

The catch can was sourced from eBay with everything els from ash hoses.

Yeah I guess, was just to make 100% sure it can breath nice and free.

Had no issues with fumes in the engine bay.

Cheers for that.  All makes sense now.

Small update for this.

Having abit of a meeting tomorrow regarding the pipework, I took samples today and I'm really impressed hence updating this now.

I'm thinking of two options...

- solid pipework kit for a standard car, this would include the top pipe from the egr valve down to the standard intercooler (smic) and then the bottom pipe out of the intercooler all the way to the turbo.

Next option

- a two piece solid pipework kit, will be similar to the darkside kit I suppose but will be slightly different and all custom.

Will be disscussing prices tomorrow as well but to get a good idea, how many people are interested?

I know you need a price which I'm thinking around £210 for the standard pipework kit. This would include...

- four couplings (turbo, 2 x cooler, egr)

- four silicone joins in a choice of colour

- all pipework needed in two pieces

- 8 jubilee (genuine!) clips

- first class recorded delivery

The kit for the fmic should be around £240.
