Hi all

Is this normal ? I have a Skoda Fabia diesel purchased in Jan 2014 and have completed 1900 miles. when using 2nd or 3rd gear i.e. in town I can hear gear noises, a slight whining. is this normal??

How can you tell it is gears? Any other symptoms?

|Your car has no mileage on it yet. If it has no other unwanted symptoms and it is not getting worse wait and see. 

The whining you are hearing is probably from bearings and not gears.
