Evening all,

First of all i apoligise if this is the wrong section for this question :o

I am looking to buy a Fabia VRS, i have had a look at one at my local Honda Dealer (taken in part ex) and i need some guidance on the price.

Its a 2004 '04', Red, UK car, 19,000 miles, Bodywork and alloys have not got a mark on it and its up for

I'd try a skoda dealer aswell

What spec has it got? Also try look at skoda's website for a guide of what they are going for.

Try going for a new one if your not in a rush? Might get a better deal?

My best advice is dont let the dealer demand when you should give them the answer!

I think it is a basis spec car, no sunroof, no cruise, no ESP i don't think it has zenons either.

Looking on the Skoda website there are 'basic' spec cars the same year with 10k less miles for the same price.

Well i went back today and managed to squeeze some more money out of them.

Done the deal and bought myself my new toy :D

I pick her up on Tuesday, i may have paid a bit over the top but i'm happy and thats all that matters :thumbup:

Now to save up for that Revo :P

Autofinders DO take part exchanges, but they offer very low prices - they offered my Dad

The only way that the on-line car shops are worth using is if you have sold privately or have no car to get rid of. The part exchange deals they offer are laughable, if you find being ripped off funny that is.
