Two categories this year after strong advice to keep it simple. Judging will be close, so we have an expert judge with years of car shows experience to hand.
 
Classic SKODA -> 1st Place £30, 2nd Place £20
 
Modern SKODA-> 1st Place £30, 2nd Place £20
 
Best in show prize, so best of the winners, £50

 

Each also get a hand made trophy from us at BRISKODA.

We've got a 2010 F1 car simulator coming. It's a 2010 F1 styled show car. You get in get in do a few orientation laps and then try to set the fastest time, top gear style leader board. Fastest time of the day wins a prize supplied by BRISKODA:Insurance, and a hand made trophy from us at BRISKODA. 2nd and 3rd also win a general use shopping voucher.
 
Scalextric Slot Racer Supplied by HORTON SKODA
 
Challenge slot car racing. Race four at a time on this themed scale racing circuit. See who has learnt the most from the formative years trigger time. No overall prize, just for personal competition with your friends/strangers/self can you keep it on the black stuff?
 
Best Photo Sponsored by Summit 360
More of an after the day announcement, but you need to be aware on the day . Simple, take some great photos, then after the day upload or share your best photo. I'll pick my favourite photo from the day. You'll win a voucher from a photography store or amazon.

Show and shine/crowd favourite will be announced at 13:50.
F1 and other challenges will be announced at 16:00

Vouchers will be amazon as they are geographically universal and easily passed on/exchanged.
I'm still confirming and securing prizes, i.e. working on more!

Can track day users enter some of the competitions too?

Yes. Although realistically the show n shine one might be lost before started after a few laps. The others are stands to be used by all. You can't be out on track all day

 

The crowd favourite is open to all, it need not be those parked in the show n shine zone.

Show n Shine basically park on some grass. That's so the judges can find all the entered cars easily. Non show n shine park on the approach roads. Hopefully close enough the aerial photography guy can capture all in one or two passes.

Does it have to be a Skoda to win a competition? I reckon everyone should vote for the Brisk Rover as crowd favourite just because it's awesome

If it's the one they are most inspired by. Thus I see no reason why it could not win.

 

The lovely thing of the crowd vote is, it's the crowds take home/favourite, impressed whatever tickles there biro clenching hand into scrawling on the voting slip... If a D type turned up it may steal the votes away or maybe an air ride yeti would. :peek:

Chris, yes as it's an independent judge, so any of the sponsors would of been eligible. Would you of won is the real question Enjoy your hols. Next year you can find out, have two major national meets pencilled in.
