bi xenon headlight

HELP !!!

I wonder if any of you could help  with my little conundrum ,

bought the superb last month , driver side headlight motor did not work , now the main beam xenon failed . so went and bought 1 new one and one for spares for £ 96.00 !!!  tried both and still no luck . grrrr !!!  

so , silly me phoned Skoda Birmingham today and and almost had coronary when they informed me that it would only cost me  £ 722.00 ! 

so , my question now : any body here got one used or where i could get one for wee bit less wonga ?
