Well it's gone

Featured Replies

After 10 years, 140k miles, 2 Ring trips, 1 Spa track day and 3 Oulton Park track days, I sold my Fabia VRS last night, it was tinged with a little sadness to finally let it go, wouldn't have sold it but for the fact I needed a bigger car, bought a Superb estate,

I will miss the low down torque for overtaking as my Superb is a 1.8Tsi, I won't miss all the rattles and bangs caused by Eibach lowered suspension, Cupra bushes, Jabba RARB, but those are the best mods, never mapped but didn't need it, best MPG 71, lowest 22mpg on Spa track day, will always remember carrying 100mph through Eau Rouge behind an M3 BMW and having to back off as the BMW driver ran out of talent,

I know they aren't the best car, and it's not a "sports car" but it served its purpose as quickish hot hatch and I had some fun in it, plus I carried all sorts in it,

So, so long my friend, it's been emotional

Sad times. Still got mine after 10 years and 133k miles :)
