Does anyone have the info on coding a columbus to a maxidot unit, I have some1 with vag com that will help me but dosnt no how to code to maxidot? Any help guys????

Also I have it all plugged in and just woundered what is the plug used under where the aeriel is? Cause I have nothing that plugs into it? Any info thanxs chaps

Coding is as simple as going into the gateway install list and ticking the nav option. The rest happens automatically.

Having said that mine worked without coding but I have also coded them for others that didn't work out of the box.

I guess there's a slim chance you would need to change the protocol of the Columbus depending where it's come from.

You think on 26-pin black socket? This is for AV signal, .etc Rear View Camera

And when you change coding of the Columbus, so that menu for Audio and Navigation would pop up/show in Maxidot, after coding is accepted you need to restart your Columbus by presing buttons < + > + VociceDial (button next to the Eject of CD/DVD) in same time.
