Hi all, I've just acquired an Octy VRS. 

Original plan was to get a Golf GT TDi 170. The vehicle I viewed though was totally clear history wise, but had clearly been in some form of incident with not so good repair. 

So my back up was this and almost a grand cheaper!

Goes like stink. Faster than my Leon FR TDi 170 I had. I have a feeling it's had it's DPF out and maybe a remap as every now and again you get a bit of black smoke. Economy wise, very frugal too. 

Only bits to do are new aluminium number plates, carbon cabin filter and air con sorted. Maybe some ARB bushes too. 

Was a complete state when I picked it up, but 5 hours on it and it's a lot more acceptable.

I've named the car Yaaaz, due to the number plate!
