What coilovers?

Featured Replies

Hi all I picked up a felicia fun last Friday in need of some tlc. It needs new front and rear shocks amongst a few hundred other parts. I'm hoping to fit coilovers to keep the cost down and also get the height I want. Iv searched and seen a few options of how to do this...

Mk4 golf was route I was going to go by boring out the hub 2mm and seeing about getting the rear threads longer.

Iv also read a bit on mk1 focus fronts but that still leaves the rear.

I seen a mention of 2002 Ibiza set up, saying it was easier but not much info on it.

Can you guys help me with your experience on what's the best way?

Cheers all

focus mk1 fronts and golf 2/3 rear ones.

Thanks for the reply mirko. It's a felicia pickup I have with the pig tail springs on the the rear that are separate from the shocks.

Mk2/mk3 must be for the hatchback then?

Has anyone fitted the full mk4 coilover setup

Cheers for the reply mate. I've decided to go with new standard struts and the 60mm lowering springs on eBay. Hoping to keep things simple.

Thanks again
