Yeti on Holiday

Featured Replies

Just spent 10hrs in the Yeti on trip up to Isle of Skye.

I have to say it was very pleasant journey, fantastic scenery but more important, could have gone on driving. On our longest journey by far, the Yeti ran faultless, extremely comfortable and a real joy to drive.

Loving it.

Nice photo Jeremy, and I'm glad you all had a GREAT time :).

Now start planning the next trip.  :giggle:

Yup we took our Yeti to Skye a few weeks after we took delivery.

It soaked up all the miles on the M6/M74 A82 & A85 in it's stride - and proved itself to be a very grunty & capable overtaking machine on those sweeping bends & uphills on the road between Broadford & Portree.

Miss the place already... We go up there most years - such a wonderful place to be.

Belcastel in the Midi-Pyrenees on August 1st. 2nd photo is of the scenic access road I "chose" to use. 3rd photo is ballast to aid traction.

I went too Skye last November and stayed in Portree and just loved the place. Glad you liked the place and the drive..

Of course it is! Why would we think any different?  :giggle:

Also a means of getting the nose weight correct?
