they don't list nothing for a fabia and nothing for a diesel golf pd130 ect??

Apparently the standard bolts are fine, 22ft-lbs plus a quarter turn, Darkside have certainly figured out how to charge for stuff!

    Dude, they're BOLTS, if they're the right diameter and the right length then they fit, are you sure you're cut out for this 'engineering' lark?

    fitting is 1 thing lasting is another especially running over 100bhp+ more than standard i have 1 of the most highly modified corsa vxr's in the country so i'd say so just new to this fabia seen

    Huh... Really?

    Well you fit the chocolate ones on offer for 10p while I fit my uprated ones with a higher tensile strength knowing they will hold under much higher pressure than being designed for.

    I think the point is, with the tdi's having cracked off big end caps and low ish rpm's there is no point in stronger rod bolts, yea if you can magically find a way to rev the thing to 6k + maybe some use perhaps but just increasing the power and torque puts no extra strain on the rod bolts,

    hell the tdi in my rally car has 180k on it and I've not even checked the big end shells yet. It was a must do on most of the vauxhalls due to them having a plain threaded set screw holding the caps on, a really bad design without even a shank to help it.

    basically save your money for better tyres/brakes etc etc.

    got tyres and brakes all sorted if the was no point in them then arp wouldn't have waisted their time making them stronger the better in the tuning world

    Theres a Arden blue VXR on my drive, its being used properly for what they were designed for, its my wifes! :)

    Get back in yer box Hutchy, I'm the one that suggested using the ARP bolts and it was to these I was referring when I made the remark about bolts being bolts! Reading comprehension FTW.
