Ooh that looked a little messy but looks all the better now.

Have you treated the area with an anti-bacterial cleaner? I've some Valet Pro Enzyme Odour Eater which is a cleaner and anti-bacterial in one so it cleans, kills bacteria and odours but also destroys any food source for bacteria to feed on.

If need be let me know and I can send you some to use for free of course.

Ebay do a thing called a travel toilet and similar with a sick bag in that there are gel beads in the bottom to absorb vomit or urine and can be safely disposed of in a regular waste bin. I believe I paid £8 for toilet and two vomit bags off ebay. Really worth keeping in the car for long journeys and with kids about.

To everyone visiting France - restaurant food is not what it was. I've been going over there regularly for over 25 years and I have noticed a great drop in quality - it started to drop when the euro arrived. My neighbour there is a retired catering manager for the Banque de France in Paris. She rarely eats out and when she and hubby do venture to some new eatery they give us a full report!

No wonder most young(ish) natives love Macdonalds.

That's a bit of an unfair generalisation!!!!!!!!!!!  It's like assuming that every visitor to Scotland is going to have to eat deep fried Mars Bars!!

My last 8 summer holidays have been taken in France and only once when eating out, did I find the food to be not as expected.  Just because you've had a bad experience in one restaurant, surely doesn't mean that every other restaurant in the country is going to be similarly poor.

As a follow up I've found the ones I bought, they are from a company called TravelJohn and two urinals and a vimit bag is £5.95.

If you look up 'vomit bags' on eBay you'll find these. Disposeable vomit bags with absorbing gel inside.

A pack of three is £8.15 while

a pack or 20 is only £15.95.
