Goodyear tyres

Featured Replies

Just got 5 Goodyear Efficient Grip Pro 205/60/15/V from ATS Ringwood supplied, fitted, balanced and valves for £384.92 - not a bad deal I think!

Not bad for £96 a corner, but mytyres are offering them for £262 + fitting (£11 / corner = £44), total for four tyres fitted = £307 or £77 each...

No, that was 5, not 4 which works out at, wait for it, wait for it £77 each!

Good spot, missed the '5'. It's not often we buy 5 tyres over 4!

£67.90 each from Camskill, plus a bit for delivery, then fitting

If these last as long as the Avon ZV5's I had before I shall be pleased.

I got the Avon's 6 years ago mainly because they came out best on their quietness in internet research.

The Goodyears are even quieter.

Could have got away with 4 and used the best ZV as a spare but they were all very worn so decided on an all round re-boot plus spare.

I've no ides how long tyres should last - since new the Octy has done 68667 miles - this is it's third lot of tyres. Nine previous tyres - 5 Continentals when new - replaced by 4 Avon's keeping one Continental for spare.

Is 68667 miles good for two sets of tyres? Doing a lot less miles these last few years.

Yeah, pretty good going. You're not racing away from the lights or throwing it into corners too much. New set should do you a while then!
