My name is Ryan.

I recently bought a white Octavia backline 170 diesel dsg.

I've worked in the motor industry for 8 years, 7 for VW in the parts dept., a year in Peugeot and 7 weeks as a service advisor for skoda.

I've also worked in a aluminium production plant, a power station and I'm currently working for a medical services company as a buyer / consumables coordinator.

Been driving a stripped out Arosa 1l for four years, 3 of those were driving 10 miles a day to the power station which didn't require anything special so the inheritance of the Arosa from the wife as her first car whilst she had the family car made sense.

Now I'm doing more miles and the wife is doing short little trips she's decided to get a new shape mini and I stumbled across the vrs (another long story).

Looking forward to getting to know everyone. Been on many other forums but after surfing this site for a couple of weeks it seems a good bunch is here.

I think so too, I feel it has more of an aggressive look to it than the mk3 and the black wheels with the white car is a bit dated but suits it well (my opinion).
