Hi

I have an octavia 1.6 tdi cr with the engine code CAYC

the generator belt has shredded and locked up the crank causing the timing to jump. i have timed it up to where i think it should be but i now have no compression.has anyone got a diagram of how to time it up or has  any one got any other ideas as to why i have no compression ?

Do you men the belt as in timing belt? If that's snapped you may have a hell of a bill to pay as this could have destroyed your engine
