SEPTEMBER GT4 challenge.

Featured Replies

Right then. Given I seem to have won all the GT4 challenges [i think], I felt it only right that I choose the next challenge.

So here goes.

The course of choice is Opera Paris forward direction.

The vehicle can be anything pre 1970.

Once you have done the challenge make note of the following.

Vehicle make, model, bhp and tyre type as well as a vague idea on how modified. In addition the fastest lap time. Then come back and post the info on this post in bald.

Have I covered everything ?

Enjoy

Andy

Hmmmm? Is the idea just to go for anything fastest of that age then? Shame you can't actually buy anything pre 70. :( You have to win them in various challenges instead. I have quite a well tuned upo Chevvy Chevelle (sp?) with about 650bhp, but it can't corner for 5hit, and that course is well twisty in places.

edit: Just remembered my '69 Ford GT40 race car. Again though, its quick but can't corner for 5hit. :D:rolleyes:

The advantage, or not, of Opera is it is a technical circuit and a car needs to be well balanced as much as anything. Balls out fast just doesn't work.

Have you tried 'legendary' cars. You can often buy early cars in this section of some manufacturers.

I suppose the AC Cobra would have a better time at cornering?

Chaperallel (sp?) 2D. 900ish BHP, Soft Race tyres, Only mods = stage 4 turbo.

1'12.950 i achieved in a some dodge delux thing 900hp. Will try that Chaperallel though, seems better !

that chaperallelellelelelel thing is pretty quick but it's a bitch to handle, and as it's only got 3 gears if you crash it takes for ever to spin up again (laaaaaaaaaag). It's capable of doing a 1min10 but I started to get annoyed so stopped trying, will continue to try and adjust my time if i manage anybetter (will include screenshot if i do).
