Skoda Superb - Auto Start Error

Hi,

 

Just wondered if anyone had seen this error before.  Started with the heater coil light coming on, then when I next stopped at traffic lights instead of the auto stop kicking in an error appears "Auto Start Stop Error".  From that point forward the engine limits to around 3k revs in any gear.

 

If I restart the car then everything is OK until I stop again, if I disable the auto start stop then the car operates fine.

 

Any advise greatfully received.
