I recently noticed when I give my car some right foot and lift off the revs continue to climb before dropping off but dropped straight away when clutch is dipped.

Is this normal? read it could mean throttle body needs cleaning or recalibrating??

You don't have a throttle body on the PD diesel.

 

Although I can't really offer any guidance as it seems strange it drops off when dipping the clutch. :(

I hear this could be egr related. Give it a clean, it's free at least!
