I got bought tickets for this for my birthday, me and the missus will be going.

 

It's the first Moto GP I'll have been to and first time to Silverstone.  I've got a general admission ticket with park and ride parking.

 

Wondered if any experienced fans on here had any top tips on:

 

-what time to get there?

-how bad is the traffic?

-where is best to stand?

I went last year for qualifying on the Saturday.

1) Get there early as possible to make a full day of it as you've paid good money fof the experience.

2) Teaffic will be heavy but it's well managed so I had no issue with it and I get very impatient in traffic jams.

3) when you arrive walk around the place to find a spot you like.

4) Take a camera/ video you'll regret not going this.

5)Those little 250cc bike are LOUD so unless your half deaf ear plugs would be a good idea.

They sell them and ear muffs at the track btw.

Moto gp bike easir on the ears fof some reason.

Keep an eye out for famous people. I bumped into Marquez and Pedrosa but fumbled so much with my iphone I missed Marquez pic as I was in such a state of excitement but got Pedrosa and even patted him on his freshly broken collar bond lol!

Hope to go again this year but not 100% sure yet.
