Skoda Ensurance

Featured Replies

Just got an invite to take out Skoda ensurance , any one got an opinion?

It's free, why wouldn't you?

It's free, why wouldn't you?

Because it just adds another unnecessary middleman who wants a piece of any payout in the event of a crash, thus making all our insurance more expensive. It is not free.

If you want your car repaired by Skoda, you can do that anyway, without making them your claims handler (and cashing in on it).

Given the amount of worming insurance companies like to do, I'd take it, and use it if I wasn't in the mood for an argument - let them get you what you want...

A love-or-hate 'Marmite' service.  Lots on Briskoda.  Try a Search.

Useless!

Had cause to use them and having started off well by sorting out a Garage, there was then a debacle with the courtesy car, which resulted in me not getting one! They then couldn't keep track of the claim between my Insurers and underwriters. They then eventually text me to say the car was booked in for repairs when it was already at the Repairers but with a date 2 months away! They clarified that and said that they would keep me better updated! Heard nothing since! Picked the car up from Repairer today. Nothing from Skoda!

I decided to use them as I was off on holiday, so thought they would be useful, but no. I also thought they would be useful if there was a problem with getting spares but that turned out not to be the case as the Repairers sorted all promptly. To me it was another layer of incompetence!

Will be speaking to them to see what their "cut" is, as from my point of view there won't be any!
