Unless you've specifically asked for a resonated system they'll probably just quote for a non resonated. That just means you can either have middle silencer or go without. Ray's system has one fitted so it'll be quieter but i don't think the octavia is overly loud with a non resonated system especially a diesel.

Really I wanna go as quiet as possible so will ask them about a reasonated system.

Afternoon, sorry to be a pest; but do you know which exhaust tip you went for? Looking for as close to standard as possible, and they tip you have looks ideal. Just need the part number/code as been told to look on tailpipes.co.uk and choose from there?

Um, yeah - good question - immediate answer is, I don't know!

 

When I went to Longlife to have the job done, matey just showed me a selection of tails that he had on a shelf, and he pulled the one from the shelf that I had fitted, and whilst showing it to me just said 'this is the one that most Octavia VRS owners have, because it looks like the standard one...'

 

So I just 'yeah, fit that one please!'

 

I've no idea what model number it is. However, I will go out to the car tomorrow in the daylight and see if there's a part number stamped on it. If not, then I will take some more pictures of it and measure the dimensions - then hopefully you can match it up with one on the website?
