Fabia II Monte VCDS Adaptation confusion

Hi guys,

 

I have had VCDS on my 2012 1.6 Diesel Monte today...

 

I turned on the needle sweep (pointless I know, but makes me smile) and also the teardrop wipe and anti hijack function

 

I have seen a lot of people mention about turn lights... Is this possible? as far as I am aware mine just has standard fog lights fighted.

 

So I guess my question is...

 

Can anyone definitively say whether:

 

A) turn lights can be activated with the hardware I have onboard

and

Is there anyway I can activate a Coming Home light function (I do not have auto headlights or xenons. just plain old halogens)

Post up full scan from your car and we can advise better.

 

Some Fabia’s can have cornering lights activated, but others will need a controller update.

Thanks so much for the reply. What full scan do you want? Im relatively new to VCDS (i.e. I can follow a step by step guide) but I don't quite understand all the lingo yet.

Just a note - it says a fault on the right adaptive light...

 

I did start clicking on turning on anything that said anything to do with turning lights.. I have no turned it all back to standard... but dont know if it registered a fault

Yes thats what we need (I have removed the last 3 digits of your Vin No.)

 

The important bit is:

 

Part No: HW: 6R7 937 087 M

 

Now we need someone with cornering lights on a Fabia to confirm their controller part No.

 

Clear the fault code and see if it returns, it may just be because there was a fault in the circuit

Ok cool thanks! I will post a question up on the fabia section

 

Also it said "clear DTC's" or something to that effect after I had completed the scan. Is that the fault code clearing? I didn't click it as I wasnt sure what it did.
