Recirc Hoses

Featured Replies

Right, the previous owner of my car fitted a Bailey recirc valve to it (winner, free parts!). The only problem is that the hose coming out the top of it has started to chafe on the engine cover. I have modified the cover so this doesn't happen, but i was wondering if anyone sold this hose in up-rated silicone format, or if it only comes as part of a larger kit.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks for the help guys, time to have a nosey around.

Interesting to hear that the previous owner fitted the part but didn't notice that the hose would chafe on the cover?

I fitted a Forge re-circ to mine a few years ago, and as soon as I tried to replace the engine cover, I noticed exactly the same thing. So, like you, I modified mine - I made a small stand-off bracket for the mount at that corner, so that the cover no longer fouls the hose....

I threw the cover away :D
