Just about do spray mine black.... Anyone know how I take the grill off?

Lift bonnet. You will see Torx head bolts holding grill on. Undo these and take grill assy off of car. To remove chrome portion work from rear of grill and you need to prise tabs away releasing chrome bit. Do this gently working around the grill. If you are careful you won't break the tabs.

Do you mean remove grill from bonnet or split removed grill apart? To remove grill from bumper from memory it is 2 torx screw each side and 3 or 4 torx screw at the underside of back of grill. If you lift up bonnet you will see the screws

I didnt split the grill. Just plastidip'd about 6 coats. And pealed off the excess. Its stayed black so far and not pealed after numerous jet washes .
